JOB SUMMARY:

The Bartender at the LineUp is responsible for preparing drink orders for all guests by following company standards and recipes .The bartender will also be responsible for providing
food ,non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverage orders to guests , by following company steps of service
standards .It is the responsibility of the position to maintain the bar area and to create an environment that is warn and welcoming in order to provide excellent service to our guests.

RESPONSIBILITIES:


• Make drinks/pour beer and wine following specific company standard recipes. Issue, open and
serve wine/champagne bottles. Maintain complete knowledge of all drink recipes.
• Take orders, up sell food and beverage items, run food to guests, refill drinks in a timely manner,
table maintenance and the ability to properly ring up and close out a guest check with the proper
method of payment.
• Communicate orders, questions and service needs with the servers, bar attendants and kitchen
staff.
• Complete daily opening, closing and/or running side work. Maintain cleanliness of work areas,
equipment, dining/service areas, and storage areas.

• Communicate and understand guest's service needs. Check in with and anticipate the guest's
service needs. Maintain positive guest relations. Follow company standard guest greetings,
goodbyes, steps of service and problem solving.
• Responsible for keeping daily cash bank secure, completing cashier reports, processing payments
and properly closing out all checks.
• Maintain complete knowledge of all menu items, liquor brands, beer and wine selection and nonalcoholic drinks available. Including descriptions, plating and garnish standards etc.
• Maintain complete knowledge of table/seat/section numbers, proper table set ups, hours operation, dress code and other standard operational information
• Adhere to all cash handling and credit policies and procedures.
• Prevent guest intoxication while providing them with alcoholic beverages
• Ability to exercise good judgment in handling disgruntled and or inebriated guests.
• Ability to exert physical effort; carrying up to 35lbs comfortably, lifting up to 50lbs occasionally,
and endure physical movement such as bending and lifting according to safety standards and
standing for long periods of time indoors and out.
