ProCare Therapy is searching for a dedicated and qualified Special Education Teacher for Inter-Lakes CooperativeinMeredith, NH, for the school year. If you are a compassionate and experienced SPED teacher looking to make a positive impact on the lives of students with special needs, we encourage you to apply.
Job Details:
- Position: Special Education Teacher
- Location: Meredith, NH
- Start Date: ASAP
- Contract Length:Till end of Spring Semester - will renewal for 24/25
- Hours:35+ hours per week
Qualifications:
- Experience in the following preferred:
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Special Education
- New Hampshire SPED Teaching Certification
- Previous experience in a SPED role is preferred
- Familiar with IEP's and EDP's
Responsibilities:
- Small group of students that have very individualized programming.
- Each of these students have Autism with cognitive challenges that require individually implemented and designed instruction.
- These students are in 7th, 5th & 4th grades.
- Teach, work with students, paraprofessionals, families, other staff, take data.
- Update IEP goals, assess students and write up the assessment report.
- Write IEPs, attend IEP meetings, present the assessment results.
