The Opportunity

The position of Credit Analyst is within our Toxicology business unit, within our finance team, located in Kansas City, MO or Orlando, FL and will be a part of our Workplace Services business, which is committed to developing and delivering innovative products and services. These products and services automate and streamline the employee screening process by combining cutting-edge technology with superior customer service.

The Credit Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting the Accounts Receivable team make informed credit decisions, while managing and mitigating credit risk effectively. Their work contributes to the overall financial stability and success of the institution by evaluating the creditworthiness of potential customers through analyzing financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant financial information.

What You’ll Work On

  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to assess the borrower's ability to repay debt, including but not limited to, examining D&B report, income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and other financial metrics.

  • Prepare in depth analysis and recommendation about credit decisions to management.

  • Recommend and implement risk mitigation strategies embracing Technology.

  • Assign credit scores based on the analysis of financial data and credit history, which helps determine the level of risk associated with allowing open payment terms.

  • Review the Credit Limit Exceeded report monthly and provide recommendations. This review will be used to identify customers that have exceeded their established credit limit.

  • Review Credit Limit change history report on a quarterly basis to ensure compliance.

  • Have a high level of understanding of commercial operations, build and maintain a relationship with commercial stakeholders such as Account Managers, regional and Finance personnel, and other Accounts Receivable departments.

  • Standardize credit management processes.

  • Provide support in the maintenance, review and update of the global standard credit and collections processes, to meet the needs of the corporate policy CFM0210.

  • Ensure integrity and completion of internal control activities in accordance with assigned frequency.

  • Perform day to day credit and collections functions within the defined process standards working across teams.

  • Meet the agreed performance measures, KPIs, and goal setting processes.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or professional credit management qualification highly preferred. Relevant work experience advantageous or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

  • 5+ years of credit experience inclusive of all aspects of credit management.

  • Fluent in English

  • Knowledge and understanding of overall OTC and B2B processes.

  • Experience in reading and analyzing customer financial statements.

  • Acceptance of new technology - Excel Intermediate – Advance- proficient on VLOOKUP, Pivot, Power Query, Power BI.

  • Previous experience reading Dunn & Bradstreet or Experian report.

The base pay for this position is $48,000.00 – $96,000.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
