Manufacturing Team Lead- Wells!

The Manufacturing Team Leader’s focus is to oversee Associates while directing and coordinating activities within an assigned production area with a focus on safety, quality, continuous improvement and productivity.

JOB SUMMARY

· Managing change and facilitating communications for problem solving and improvements within the department

· Assist in overseeing the efficient operation of the manufacturing floor including monitoring, coaching and training while ensuring scrap and rejects are kept to a minimum.

· Ability to perform all positions on the lines and to train Associates to perform all positions.

· Facilitate, and oversee WIP products, table work, rejects and re-labeling, etc. and is responsible for daily rotation schedule

· Complete paperwork and logging of data per company quality standards, with special emphasis on SOP’s, HACCP, CCP and data capture.

· Minimum High School Diploma or some college highly desirable.

· Experience in Lean Manufacturing and mechanical aptitude are a plus.

· Participates & displays initiative in promoting safety and maintaining a safe work environment.

· Be proficient in WMS system and help train others.

· Must have experience leading others and proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels.

· Must be able to operate electrical and manual pallet jacks and forklifts.

· Ability to work with Word and Excel. Navision experience is a plus.

· Reliable and dependable attendance is required

· Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis and to stand for several hours at a time

· Must be able to bend, reach, squat, kneel, climb, and twist

· Ability to work in an environment with fragrance in the air and a warmer temperature
