Associate Veterinarian

Donner Truckee Veterinary Hospital is a small business in Truckee, CA. We are professional, agile, fast-paced and our goal is to maintain top quality care for animals.

We see only small animals. We currently do not see exotics, pocket pets, or farm animals.

**Our pay ranges based on percentage of commission**

Our work environment includes:

• Daily Urgent Care/ Emergencies
• Procedure time.
• Two high-end GE Ultrasounds
• Echocardiography
• Dental Suite with Digital Dental X-ray
• Complete IDEXX Lab
• Digital X-ray

```Duties```
- Diagnose and treat animals with illnesses or injuries
- Perform surgeries, including routine and emergency
- Conduct routine check-ups and preventative care for pets
- Provide guidance and education to pet owners on proper animal care and nutrition
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and other staff members to provide comprehensive care for animals
- Maintain accurate medical records for all patients

```Experience```
- Degree in Veterinary Medicine from an accredited institution
- Valid license to practice veterinary medicine in the state
- Experience in performing surgeries
- Familiarity with veterinary critical care procedures

Skills required: Mixed general care and urgent care. We are proud to offer emergency services in the Truckee area.
