Opportunity to work with a Native American tribe in the Olympic Peninsula region of Washington State! Discover 70 miles of protected coastline and a sanctuary teeming with wildlife, from tidal pools to eagles to deerand sometimes cougar and bear! Hike forested trails, explore the Quillayute River brimming with salmon and trout and dig into the deeprooted culture of the local Native American tribes!
The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial strategy, financial planning and analysis, financial reports, company audits, compliance, and bank relationships. They will collaborate with the General Manger and the Tribal Council to make decisions regarding organization's financial strategy and operations. The candidate must have at least five (5) years of governmental, and/or Tribal accounting experience (preferred), as a CFO, Controller or equivalent.

Responsibilities
- Create and present financial and tax strategy recommendations to GM
- Support the financial planning and analysis efforts
- Oversee cash flow, cash management, working capital, and company audits
- Prepare financial statements and reports
- Ensure legal compliance on all financial functions
- Manage relationships with banks
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Strong demonstrated leadership experience
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting or related field from an accredited university with a minimum of five (5) years of experience as CFO or equivalent. Preference will be given to candidates with an MBA in Finance.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment and random drug testing and a security background check. Candidate must acknowledge and agree to maintain a drug-free workplace as a condition of employment.
