Hydrovac Assistant

Baranko Companies is currently seeking a hardworking and reliable Hydrovac Assistant to join our team. As a Hydrovac Assistant, you will assist in the safe and efficient operation of hydrovac equipment to perform excavation and material removal tasks. Our company specializes in earthwork, trucking, oilfield, power plant, environmental, and heavy highway work. We value teamwork, professionalism, and a strong commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist Hydrovac Operators in setting up and operating hydrovac equipment
• Perform excavation and material removal tasks as directed by the operator
• Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of equipment
• Follow safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Assist in the proper disposal of materials and waste
• Communicate effectively with team members and follow instructions
• Perform other related duties as required

Requirements

• Ability to work in all weather conditions and physically demanding environments
• Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures and guidelines
• Strong work ethic and the ability to work well in a team
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and comply with drug and alcohol policies during employment
• CDL with tanker endorsement is preferred but not required
