Salary: $55,000-110,000

Summary

Primarily responsible for the planning, design, and oversight of building construction projects, ensuring safe and timely project completion within budget.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Education –Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related area.
  • 3 – 5 years of experience in construction engineering or similar roles.
  • Engineering licensure or working towards licensure is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Good understanding of construction engineering principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in construction and engineering software.
  • Microsoft office experience (Word, Outlook, Excel).
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


Essential Functions

  • Plan, design, and oversee building construction projects ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Prepare and review blueprints, schematics, and construction plans.
  • Coordinate with contractors, architects, and other engineering specialists.
  • Monitor the quality of materials and workmanship on construction sites.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure design specifications, safety, and other standards are met.
  • Ensure compliance with engineering standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Review and maintain compliance with government regulations and ordinances.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
