Journeyman Plumber / Plumbing Technician

Colonial Plumbing Heating Air in Colonial Heights, VA is looking to add a full-time Journeyman Plumber / Plumbing Technician to our team. Can you service, diagnose issues with, repair, and install equipment and systems in a profitable and safe manner? Are you motivated to exceed customer expectations by meeting all project requirements? If so, we want to meet you!

The typical schedule is based on project schedules with some overtime and weekends as needed. We pay a competitive wage of $27-$37/hour plus spiffs and bonuses. This means that you can earn $60,000-$80,000/year! You would also be eligible for health benefits, dental and AFLAC options (pre-tax), AD&D and term life insurances, and a 401(k) plan. We offer six paid holidays per year (New Year's Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas) and generous PTO (personal time off) after 90 days:

• 40 hours - start through year 3
• 80 hours - 3rd year through year 6
• 120 hours - 7th year through year 19
• 160 hours - 20th year+

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A JOURNEYMAN PLUMBER / PLUMBING TECHNICIAN

• At least 3 years of relevant experience
• Current plumber license or equivalent experience
• Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record
• Capability to climb ladders, work in hot/cold environments, work in small spaces, and regularly lift up to 75 lbs
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test
