We are looking for a talented Lead Pizza Cook at The Anchor. You will be responsible for our customers’ experiences. The cooks responsibilities include ensuring our line is clean and tidy at all times, food preparation and presentation. You need to be quick on your feet and have a polite and friendly attitude. If you enjoy creating creative cuisine and thrive in a fast-paced workplace, we’d like to meet you.

Responsibilities:

• Control quality and consistency of all food served
• Ensure station is set 15 minutes prior to service
• Ensure all food supplies necessary for service are in appropriate supply on a timely basis
• Assist in controlling food cost
• Responsible for all foods flowing to and from assigned station
• Assist in producing and plating all foods for all restaurant outlets/functions
• Proper storage for advanced production
• Filling out daily/nightly prep sheets and prepping to assigned par levels
• Reporting any maintenance or security problems
• Proper station set - breakdown and general cleaning
• Ensure work area is clean and clear of standing water, debris or any objects that can obstruct the job duties from being performed safely, efficiently and effectively

Qualifications:

• Interior of restaurant, in restaurant and kitchen areas, with exposure to humidity, steam and extreme temperatures
• Exposure to Food and Beverage hazardous cleaning chemicals
• Requires ability to lift up to 50 pounds with ease
• Walking, stooping, standing, bending and sitting; possibly for more than 1 hour
• Ability to communicate orally and in written form, in English
