We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Line Cook to join our culinary team at Black Prong Bar and Grill. The Line Cook plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and consistency of our dishes, contributing to the overall success of the kitchen operation. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and rewarding environment, alongside talented chefs and culinary professionals. Pastry experience is a considered a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines.
• Execute cooking techniques with precision, ensuring proper cooking temperatures and timing for each dish.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including equipment, utensils, and work surfaces.
• Collaborate with fellow kitchen staff to ensure smooth service operations and timely delivery of orders.
• Monitor food quality throughout the cooking process, making adjustments as needed to ensure dishes meet standards.
• Assist with prep work and mise en place as needed, ensuring all ingredients are properly prepared and organized for service.
• Adhere to health and safety standards and regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.

Requirements:• Previous experience as a line cook or culinary professional in a restaurant or hospitality setting.

• Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
