QED Systems, LLC, is currently recruiting a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Fort Detrick, MD to support Project Manager Tactical Network (PM TN). This role will be primarily responsible for providing support to the Global Agile Integrated Transport (GAIT) Network Support Center (NSC). This position is contingent upon award.

Duties:
  • Provide QA services to ensure that all deliverables and products are of the highest quality and meet the standards established by the contract Quality Assurance Plan.
  • Assure that all contractor personnel maintain an acceptable security posture, including IA, OPSEC and other applicable requirements IAW all security regulations as stipulated by the national and local security officer.
  • Ensure that all contract deliverables are timely. Coordinate deliverable schedule with contract personnel and the Government in accordance with the proposal and the contract / Task Order.
  • Ensure that all deliveries are scheduled and arrive in a timely manner.
  • Review all network drawings and ensure they are submitted to the Government for acceptance in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all contractor training is completed in accordance with contract timelines.
  • Ensure all contractors follow installation and facility access procedures.
  • Ensure that the required OPSEC SOP/ Plan meets minimum quality standards.
  • Ensure that all contractors are registered in ATCTS and complete annual DoD IA Awareness training.

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Understand variations of the PM TN, formerly WIN-T, network configuration and implementation Tactics, Techniques, Procedures (TTPs) associated with each.
  • The candidate fulfilling these duties must be knowledgeable in the PM TN tactical terminals from a planning, implementation and troubleshooting perspective.
  • Detailed-oriented with excellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills.

Required Clearance/Other:
  • ACTIVE CLEARANCE LEVEL REQUIRED: Secret

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in networking/telecommunications required.
  • Four (4) years' applicable work experience can be used as a substitute.

Travel:

Less than 25% travel is expected for this position. Travel may include continental United States and outside continental United States locations.

Work Environment:

This position may be performed in a variety of locations, including but not limited to, commercial and/or government offices, test and integration labs, government facilities and depots, and test & evaluation and proving grounds.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This position includes 12-hour day shift (2-on, 2-off, 3-on, 2-off, 2-on, 3-off) 84hrs every 2 weeks. This Team operates as a component of the larger GAIT NSC Team on a 24 x 7 x 365 basis. Travel may occur outside of normal core hours.
