Hiring Pre-K Teacher for the 2024-2024 School Year Near Plymouth NC

Employment Type: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
Schedule: 7:45am - 3:10pm

Position Overview:
As a Pre-K Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in providing a nurturing and stimulating educational experience for our young learners. With a supportive team and a brand-new classroom, you will have the opportunity to create an exciting and enriching environment where children can develop socially, emotionally, and academically.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities to promote children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
  • Create a warm and weling classroom environment that fosters a sense of belonging and encourages exploration and discovery.
  • Provide instruction and support in early literacy, numeracy, science, social studies, and creative arts.
  • Use a variety of teaching strategies and materials to acmodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Collaborate with the paraprofessional in the classroom to provide individualized support and attention to students.
  • Establish positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues to support children's overall development and well-being.
  • municate regularly with parents and guardians to share information about children's progress, achievements, and areas for growth.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices and stay current with best practices in early childhood education.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
  • Valid NC teaching credential or certification in Early Childhood Education.
  • Previous experience teaching in a Pre-K or early childhood classroom preferred.
  • Knowledge of early childhood development, curriculum, and instructional strategies.
  • Strong interpersonal and munication skills.
  • Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with young children.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
