CNC Programmer/Operator Job Summary: A well established Manufacturing and Distribution Company in Seagoville, TX is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer/Operator to join their team!
Shift: Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm
Pay: $20-$25/hr
Responsibilities:
- Develop CNC programs using CAD/CAM software (or would be willing to learn this over time)
- Set up and operate CNC machines to produce parts to specification
- Perform tool changes and offsets to maintain quality and accuracy
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines
- Monitor production to ensure quality and efficiency
- Perform in-process inspections and document results
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Collaborate with team members to continuously improve processes and procedures
Requirements:
- At least 1-2 years of CNC operating experience. Particularly CNC Mill or Lathe experience
- Understanding of basic M code and G code functions
- Strong understanding of technical drawings and machining processes
- Ability to set up and operate CNC machines
- Knowledge of proper speeds and feeds for various types of material from aluminum to steel
- Identifying and selecting proper tooling for specific machining operations
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to perform in-process inspections and document results
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- High School Diploma or GED
The ideal candidate will be able to read and interpret technical drawings and have a strong understanding of the machining process.
Pluses:
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software
- Experience with Haas machines
- Experience with SolidCAM, Fusion, or other programming software
