AAC is hiring an Acquisition Logistics Engineer to join our program support staff in Sterling, VA. This position will supports our prime contractor product team in their development of their Integrated Logistic Support artifacts within the Total Life Cycle Systems engineering process. Further, they will assist the Program team in the development of Product Concept & Plan and fielding to the fleet. Reviews fleet requirements and recommends tooling and test equipment. They will be responsible for establishing maintenance requirements for field systems/equipment including all maintenance tasks, and they will review documentation for technical adequacy.

The customer is located in Sterling, VA, but candidates may be considered for on-site, hybrid, fully remote, or alternate work locations (to include Chantilly VA, Austin TX, Sarasota FL, Denver CO, and San Diego, CA).

Responsibilities also include:

  • Support to multiple logistics projects in a customer lead cross-functional IPT team setting
  • Perform of CAIV/LCC/Supportability analysis
  • Provide expertise and products relating to
    • ILS Management
    • LSA (LORA/LCC LSAR Maintenance Planning)
    • Reliability/Maintainability/Testability
    • Supply Support (Provisioning Spares & Support Equipment)
    • Support and Test Equipment
    • Manpower and Personnel
    • Technical Documentation
    • Training and Training Equipment
    • Packaging, Handling, Storage and Transportation (PHS&T)
    • Facilities
    • Computer resources
  • Interact with senior internal and external personnel on matters of significant importance
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior logisticians

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in related discipline
  • 9 years of professional experience;
  • Ability to attain/maintain DOD Top Secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in a related discipline
  • 15 years of experience
  • Ability to attain/maintain TS/SCI clearance
  • DAWIA Certification in Lifecyle Logistics
