Dental Hygienist -Children's Clinic (Part time or Full time)

We are hiring for a Dental Hygienist in our Children's Clinic at our Savage location. Our compensation plan allows you to make the the best wages in the industry.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible before and during their examination
• Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history
• Clean and help protect patients' teeth
• Educate patients regarding the importance of oral hygiene, as well as instruction and demonstration of effective oral hygiene methods
• Give instructions to patients after operations and other dental procedures
• Take X-rays and dental impressions
• Assist dentists with selecting appropriate treatments for various diseases
• Maintain documentation and charts on each patient
• Clinical needs as required by office

Clinical Requirements

• Minnesota Licensure and current CPR certification in American Heart Association, Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• High degree of skill with hand instrumentation
• Local anesthesia and root planning
• Certified to administer nitrous oxide
• PR Certification

• We welcome new grads and experienced Hygienists
