An established private practice with an amazing team.  Kiggins Family Dentistry is one of the most comprehensive general practices in the Carson City/Reno area. We are a high-performing, no-drama, team-based practice that's focused on empowering each other to be our best selves. We need an experienced, energetic, and reliable Registered Dental Hygienist to join us.

Requirements

• NV State Dental Hygiene Licensure 
• Local Anesthesia 
• Active CPR Certification 
• Ability to commute/relocate: Reliably commute or plan to relocate to Albuquerque before starting work

Job Responsibilities

• Professional cleanings, SRP, and Perio Maintenance with patient comfort and great results
• Excellent X-rays
• Accurate charting
• Setting up team members for success
• Skilled patient education
• Setting up the doctor for success
• Build relationships with patients, the doctor, and the team. 

Schedule

• 8-hour shifts
• No Nights
• No Weekends
• Fridays Off
• We are open Monday-Thursday, 8 am - 5 pm

What about Justin Kiggins, the owner? 

Dr. Justin D. Kiggins, D.M.D. thoroughly enjoys practicing dentistry in beautiful Carson City and absolutely loves the dental field! Dr. Kiggins graduated from Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, PA. He went on to complete a residency in General Dentistry at the University of Utah Hospital, where he received additional training in Oral Surgery, Endodontics, Implants, and Pediatric Dentistry. He is certified in sedation dentistry.

Continuing education is important to Dr. Kiggins. He spends several hours each year attending courses and keeping abreast of the latest technology and changes in the dental field. He has completed the hundreds of hours of required coursework and is preparing to take the exam to earn his F.A.G.D. (only 7% of general dentists in the country achieve this honor.) He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the Northern Nevada Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the Nevada Dental Association.

When Dr. Kiggins is not with his patients or doing one of his cartwheels for his young patients, Dr. Kiggins loves to be with his family. He has been married for sixteen years and has four children. He enjoys charcoal barbecuing, going to the gym, and watching college football. Dr. Kiggins is fluent in Portuguese and speaks Spanish with many patients.
