Planner - Full-time

The Planner will work together with the Planner(s) to provide administrative support in order to maintain and execute a manufacturing plan that consists of production planning, scheduling and manufacturing order management

Essential Functions/Job Responsibilities:

• Works with the Senior Planner to draw up production schedule.
• Make adjustments to Master Schedule as directed.
• Schedules orders for purchasing and production according to Senior Planner.
• Collaborates with team members or department supervisors to resolve constraints or delays of assigned products or components.
• Works with Purchasing Team to ensure material and outside service requirements are met,
• Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions or constraints.
• Communicates updated availability information to Sales and other stakeholder groups.

Education and/or Experience:

• High school diploma and/or GED required.
• 2-3 years of administration in a manufacturing environment
• AS degree and 5 years of combination of experience preferred,
• Experience in packing, kitting, industrial products, or machined assemblies a plus.
• Knowledge and experience with Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma.
• Excellent communication and report writing skills; attention to detail.
• Ability to work well in a cross-functional team environment.
• Proficiency in ERP Systems, MS Office and Outlook.

Physical Demands:

• No restrictions on wearing required PPE for area, including safety eyewear and steel toed shoes.
