Shipping and Receiving Clerk - Full-time / Part-time

Our client, in Quincy IL is seeking a shipping/receiving clerk for a full time 2nd shift. 

Job Title:Shipping/Receiving Clerk

Location: Quincy, IL

Pay Range: $19 per hour

What’s the Job?

• shift is Monday-Friday 2:30-11pm
• shipping and receiving clerk
• job is located in a very clean facility

What’s Needed?

Skills:

• Customer service/Interpersonal/Friendly, but with ability to be firm as needed – some people they interact with can be pushy and/or difficult. It’s important this person can diplomatically handle challenging personalities.
• Attention to Detail – for example, needs to notice number inversions (i.e 890 vs 980) on electronic and hard copy documents, or right/wrong product codes, etc.
• Multi-tasking and task prioritizing 
• Computer comfortability/typing – this does not require advanced computer skills, but a candidate must be comfortable using a computer for data entry, looking up items, and communication. The programs we use for inventory are archaic programs, so a combination of simple but strict rule-based technology.
