Type: Full-time; Contract 

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. 

  

Clark Personnel is seeking a Medical Financial Rep to join a growing and dynamic team!  

 

Job Description: 

• Obtain maximum reimbursement for services rendered either at the point of care or post discharge
• Drive collections, answering invoice questions, identifying late invoices, making collections calls and identifying non-payment risk, and personally depositing checks
• Be persistent & pleasant in following up to ensure required actions are taken using a combination of carrot and stick to achieve results
• Converse with doctors, nurses and other medical professionals about medical diagnoses and treatments
• Set up new client billing relationships in compliance with vendor management systems and ensure initial invoice works
• Write and respond to routine correspondence (email+)
• Answer telephones and transfer to appropriate department/employee

  

Position Requirements: 

• Review insurance benefits and eligibility loaded in system to determine active coverage and estimated amount due for visit
• Contact patient and verify/update the following information on their account: Demographics, Emergency Contacts and HIPAA Reps, Guarantor, and Coverage
• Advise patient of estimated patient portion due and collect the estimated patient portion
• Ability to operate technology systems
• Comply with Standard Operating Procedures
