Acute Hospital Registered Nurse RN

DaVita is seeking a Registered Nurse who is looking to give life in a hospital setting. You can make an exceptional difference in the lives of our patients and their families dealing with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease. DaVita has contracted to support the following hospitals for all dialysis services, following are for this Franklin Acute Program:

• Pennsylvania Hospital 800 Spruce St Dialysis Unit Philadelphia, PA 19107 

• Penn Presbyterian Medical Center 51 North 39th St. Philadelphia, PA 19104

Some details about these two different positions (we have a morning and afternoon role):  

• Day time role - 7am to 7pm

• Afternoon role 11am to 11pm

Patient Ratio - 1:1 or 1:2 depending on patients acuity

Dialysis experience is NOT required (we will train) 3 months on the job.

Schedule days vary - (scheduled weeks in advance) days - Mon- Saturday (every other Saturday)

Some on call is required

Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice, if this is a multiple state region we are willing to start training prior to your getting the alternate licensure.
• Associates Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N); three-year diploma from accredited diploma program may be substituted for nursing degree
• We DO NOT require you to have any specific hospital experience. Just your BSN or ASN and nursing license.

You will gain exposure in many areas of the hospital:

• ICU
• Critical Care
• Emergency (ER)
• Med/Surgical
• Skilled Nursing Care
• And many other areas of nursing
