POSITION PURPOSE:

We are currently in search of a diligent and highly organized individual to take on the role of Campground Manager within our team. As the Campground Manager, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing the operational standards of our facility. Your duties will involve strategic planning, financial management, leadership, and day-to-day operations. We are seeking a professional with a proactive mindset, hands-on approach, and a sincere dedication to providing outstanding guest experiences. Your main objective will be to develop and implement initiatives that align with our organizational objectives, promoting growth and sustainability across the campground, RV resort, and camp store.


CAMPGROUND MANAGER COMPENSATION:

  • Base rate $35,000-$40,000
  • Compensated On-site living with all utilities included (valued at $10,000 per year)

CAMPGROUND MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Innovate and implement initiatives to enhance the overall guest experience across all facilities.
  • Ensure seamless day-to-day operations of the Campground, RV Resort, and camp store, maintaining high standards of service, cleanliness and safety.
  • Coordinate activities to optimize efficiency, guest satisfaction, and revenue generation.
  • Provide strong leadership, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, training sessions, and performance evaluations.
  • Champion a customer-centric approach, ensuring exceptional service standards.
  • Implement strategies to solicit and respond to guest feedback, continuously elevating the guest experience.
  • Oversee budget development and financial performance for each area, identifying opportunities for cost control and revenue enhancement.
  • Analyze financial reports and implement strategies to achieve financial objectives.
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure the upkeep of all facilities.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and address maintenance needs promptly.
  • Implement and monitor adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations for the campground, RV resort, and camp store operations.
  • Work with marketing teams to develop and implement promotional strategies to attract and retain guests.
  • Utilize digital platforms and traditional marketing channels to increase brand visibility.
  • Foster positive relationships with the local community, collaborating on events and partnerships to enhance the overall image and impact of the facilities.

CAMPGROUND MANAGER QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years in a management position
  • Hospitality, Hotel, and RV Resort Management is helpful, but not required
  • Knowledge of outdoor recreation and campground operations
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations
  • Ability to be on call 24 hours a day during occasional periods for emergencies
  • Excellent customer service, communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative when needed
  • Comfortable working in an outdoor environment and able to handle physical demands of the job, such as lifting and moving equipment.
  • Passionate about creating memorable experiences for campers of all ages
  • Possess excellent organization and project management skills
  • Ability to manage and complete multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and delegation skills with ability to manage confrontation
  • Working closely with the team and maintain efficient and effective campground operations.
  • Coach, mentor and develop others.
