Electrical Apprentice

Description:

As an electrical apprentice for Purelight Power, you would be assisting with various tasks related to the installation and maintenance of solar panels and electrical systems. Some of the responsibilities may include:

1. Assisting with the installation of solar panels on rooftops or other suitable locations.

2. Running electrical wiring and conduits to connect the solar panels to the electrical system of the house.

3. Mounting and securing the solar panels to ensure they are properly positioned for maximum sunlight exposure.

4. Assisting with the connection and installation of inverters, batteries, and other necessary equipment for the solar system.

5. Testing and troubleshooting electrical systems to ensure they are functioning correctly and safely.

6. Collaborating with other team members to ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety regulations.

7. Assisting with the maintenance and repair of solar systems, including cleaning panels and replacing faulty components.

8. Learning and applying electrical theory and principles related to solar energy systems.

It's important to note that as an apprentice, the electrician will work under the supervision of a licensed electrician who will provide guidance and instruction throughout the process.

Requirements:

• Must be registered as an apprentice electrician with the state of Montana
• Have at least 1 year of electrical experience, required
• 6+ months construction experience, preferred
• Valid US driver's license and good driving record
• Reliable transportation
• Basic tools (impact driver, socket set, hand tools etc.)
• Be able to climb up ladders, work on roofs and lift at least 50 lbs.
• Be professional and dependable
• Have good time management skills
