Position Overview

As a Project Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing, maintaining, and implementing solutions and documentation to support project goals. You will analyze project data, create comprehensive reports, and provide valuable insights to ensure project success. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with strong analytical skills and a passion for driving project success. Responsibilities include:
Consistent QA/QC on incoming data and report on identified patterns

  • Creating and documenting project workflows
  • Engaging with clients and multiple entities of the business
  • Creating web dashboards
  • Providing resources for clients

The objective of this role is to maintain and expand relationships with external clients while supporting the diverse needs of a growing operations team. It also requires a sense of comfort in navigating challenging scenarios and conversations with the Operations teams and clients. This will ensure the satisfaction of both teams and create the foundation for success. The role requires a high sense of urgency to solve problems, identify new solutions, and communicate key metrics effectively. Job Duties

What you'll do:

  • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of project-related data through meticulous documentation and validation processes.
  • Generate regular reports on project progress and performance metrics for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to gather project-related information and provide insights for decision-making. 
  • Conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities relevant to project success.
  • Interpret and understand client source data for the purpose of disseminating to team members and determining suitability to support project requirements.  
  • Cultivate a positive culture.
  • Assist team members in developing technical skill sets, capabilities, & motivation.
  • Attend meetings as requested.
  • Facilitate problem solving and collaboration.
  • Ensure deliverables are prepared to satisfy the project requirements, cost, and schedule.
  • Attend client setup meetings both remote and onsite
  • Review completed tasks to ensure yielded results fall within project specific standards.
  • Conducts a variety of analysis related to the development and implementation of assigned projects; evaluates alternatives, makes recommendations and presents reports/findings to internal & external parties as necessary.

Qualifications
  • Education and Experience: 
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in GIS, geography, planning, civil engineering, computer science, or related fields. 
  • 1-3 years of experience in a relevant field (GIS, data analytics, project management, or similar).
  • Strong working knowledge of the following software:
    • ArcGIS Suite (ArcMap/ArcCatalog, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, mobile field apps)
    • Dashboard creation software (Looker Studio, Power BI)
    • Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools (Teams, etc.)
    • SQL (desirable)
  • Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to navigate challenging conversations.
  • Demonstrated ability to be self-directed, proactive, and adaptable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
  • Familiarity with the power distribution or telecommunications industry is a plus.
  • Client engagement experience.
