Black River Memorial Hospital is embarking on a search for a visionary Chief Financial Officer (CFO) who will lead with integrity, drive operational excellence, and champion the values of our rural community-focused critical access hospital. Responsibilities: The CFO will serve as the principal financial strategist for Black River Memorial Hospital and Black River Healthcare Clinic. Responsibilities include executive oversight of general accounting, patient business services, third-party reimbursement, and financial and statistical reporting functions, all aligned with established policies and accounting procedures.

Candidate Qualifications: We seek candidates with the following qualifications:
- Master’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, healthcare administration, or related field from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive, related experience with leadership and management responsibilities.
- Preferably a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
- Exceptional knowledge of healthcare financial management, third-party reimbursement, contracts, and generally accepted accounting principles and practices.
- Strong understanding of hospital patient care principles and practices.
- Extensive familiarity with relevant state and federal regulations, as well as healthcare policies and practices.
- Comprehensive knowledge of risk business management policies, procedures, and practices.
- Working proficiency in contemporary supervisory, management, and administrative principles and practices.
- Excellent computer skills in a variety of software programs across various applications.
