Reservations Agent - Based in Boston, MA

White Elephant Resorts, a collection of award-winning boutique hotels and luxury resorts located on Nantucket, Massachusetts and Palm Beach, Florida, is looking to expand their team to include a year-round Reservations Agent. *This position is based in our Boston office.

The ideal candidate would be self-motivated, sales-minded, customer-focused and detail and goal oriented with the willingness to learn new processes, and the ability to merge into a dynamic work environment.

Other responsibilities include:

• Strong ability to multi-task
• Maintain complete knowledge of: All hotel facilities/services & hours of operation; All guest room layouts, bed types, décor, locations and amenities; Room availability for any given day, restricted dates, rates and room types; All room rates, packages and promotions; Entertainment/special events scheduled in the hotels & on the island; Travel to the island (boat and Plane)
• Accommodate special requests and designate such in system
• Verify all reservation information with caller to ensure accuracy

Applicants should also work well under pressure, possess excellent communication skills, be organized, flexible, self-motivated, and have a great sense of humor. Experience with computers and Microsoft Office essential.
