We are seeking a motivated and experienced JD Edwards Senior Developer to be based at our Corporate Headquarters in Lodi, California, near Sacramento. Salary Range: $105,000-$135,000, depending on level of education, work experience and skills. Eligible for annual profit-sharing bonus program.

Hybrid Schedule: This position allows for a hybrid schedule, with 2 days of remote work (Tuesday and Thursday) and 3 days on-site (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday), blending the convenience of working from home with the benefits of in-person collaboration.

The JDE Senior Developer plays a crucial role in connecting business needs with IT solutions, leveraging extensive JDE knowledge to design, construct, and sustain system integrations. This position requires a skilled troubleshooter dedicated to ensuring the seamless operation of existing systems and the seamless introduction of enhancements. Additionally, the developer focuses on crafting clean, reusable code while adeptly juggling multiple projects to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in development processes.

Primary job duties:

  • Translate business requirements into accurate application specifications, collaborating with stakeholders and business analysts.
  • Design, create, implement, and maintain integrations between JDE and other systems with an API-first strategy.
  • Write, test, and implement programs using JDE EnterpriseOne Tools (RDA, FDA) and other supported toolsets, including EDI.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve problems and errors with existing systems in a timely manner, following OMW/Department guidelines.
  • Design, implement, and extend additional functionality to existing systems, refactoring where appropriate.
  • Write stable, reusable code conforming to team coding style and standards.
  • Balance multiple projects, manage daily workload, and prioritize tasks.
  • Participate in peer code reviews and technical meetings, providing constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate closely with other members of the development team in development and support efforts.
  • Maintain communication with the team, supervisor, and project manager regarding the status of software development.
  • Support QA, UAT, and integration testing efforts, including test case execution as needed.
  • Conduct preliminary testing of applications as a crucial step in the deployment process

Primary Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in information systems or computer science.
  • 7+ years of experience in system design and programming.
  • 7+ years of experience with JDE EnterpriseOne toolset, including Orchestrator and BSSV.
  • Experience with Orchestrator Studio, Monitor, and API development strategy and implementation.
