Job Description
We are currently seeking a Nurse Practitioner for our Marion, Arkansas location reporting directly to the Manager, Environmental, Health & Safety. This individual will be responsible for providing hands-on medical care, ordering diagnostic tests, administering first aid, functions at the Arkansas location.
Responsibilities:
- Providing primary care to team member patients
- Performing initial examinations, including physical exams and patient observations
- Setting up and monitoring medical equipment
- Administer first aid as required
- Providing emergency care, medical care, wound care as needed
- Acting as primary interface with medical clinics, hospitals and first responders
- Providing training to first aid responder team members
- Ordering and administering diagnostic tests
- Communicating test results to patients
- Recording patient medical histories
- Operating and maintaining medical equipment
- Completing required tests (e.g., COVID, hearing, etc.)
- Examining patients and their medical records
- Ordering and studying diagnostic tests (blood tests, X-rays etc.)
- Diagnosing health conditions and illnesses
- Proposing treatments for chronic and infectious diseases
- Prescribing medications
- Maintaining accurate records and schedules
- Informing patients about their health conditions and prescribed medications
- Educating patients on diseases, epidemics and prevention
- Overseeing patients’ overall health
- Promoting good health practices
- Performing other duties as required / assigned such as special projects
- Working overtime before or after shift as required to support Team Members
Education & Experience
- 5 Years Nurse Practitioner experience
- Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (valid FNP license required
- Master's degree preferred
- OSHA Certification preferred
- Positive and professional communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to interact with team members across all levels of the organization.
- Strong computer skills particularly in Microsoft Products including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Knowledge of regulations and compliance guidelines related to HIPAA and privacy, medications, medical documentation and record-keeping
- Attention to detail, analytical and accurate
- Expertise in primary care, acute care and chronic care practices
- Knowledge of health and patient care regulations
- Professional communication skills
