Kitchen Packaging Associate

JOB SUMMARY

As a Kitchen Packaging Associate, you will be responsible for packaging and labeling cannabis-infused food products in compliance with industry regulations and company standards. You will work closely with the production team to ensure accurate and efficient packaging processes while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES

• Package cannabis-infused food products according to established procedures and guidelines.
• Ensure accurate labeling of all products, including dosage information, ingredients, and warning labels as required by regulations.
• Conduct quality checks on packaged products to ensure they meet company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in managing inventory levels of packaging materials and finished products.
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding cannabis packaging and labeling.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety protocols and guidelines.
• Keep detailed records of packaging activities, including batch numbers, quantities packaged, and any deviations from standard procedures.
• Collaborate with production team members to optimize packaging processes and workflow efficiency.
• Participate in training sessions related to packaging procedures, safety protocols, and compliance requirements.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute ideas to enhance overall operations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Must be 21 years of age +
• Applicants should possess the ability to acquire and uphold state-mandated badging prerequisites.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in packaging or manufacturing preferred.
• Knowledge of cannabis regulations and compliance is a plus.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in packaging and labeling.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts as required.
