PALS is seeking a full-time Counter Sales Representative to join their team. An Affiliate of Life-Science Innovations, PALS (Poultry And Livestock Supplies) is a retailer and service provider of equipment, feed, and medication distributed within the poultry and hog industry, located on the West side of Willmar, MN.
This full-time opportunity will build strong relationships and develop new opportunities with customers by listening to their needs and providing valuable solutions.

This full-time opportunity will build strong relationships and develop new opportunities with customers by listening to their needs and providing valuable solutions.
Experience/Educational Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED required.
- Sales or customer service experience.
- Takes calls from customers via telephone and assists customers that come to the PALS location. Identifies customer needs, provides solutions, and recommends products to meet needs. Research products via vendor product literature and the Internet to meet customer needs.
- Enter sales orders into the ERP system and ensure items are scheduled for timely delivery.
- Learns about the products PALS offers to its customers, including medications and other animal health products and livestock equipment.
- Supports PALS outside sales staff by researching their queries, informing them of their findings, and entering orders.
- Completes the proper paperwork to document returns and submits for processing.
The Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Customer Service orientation.
- Strengths in organization, time management, and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and the ability to interact with a variety of internal employees and external customers.
- General knowledge of hog and poultry confinement industries.
- Ability to coordinate multiple demands simultaneously.
- Communication and interaction with all levels of employees and customers.
- Ability to work independently, under pressure, and manage your own time.
- Cooperative and professional.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Driven to learn equipment and the components.
