We have multiple part-time and full-time vacancies available, but please note that these positions are seasonal.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Engaging customers and providing a friendly and pleasant environment. 

• Answering customer questions and assisting them through the sales process (Including providing information, finding proper sizing, etc.). 

• Researching information about the products that are available for sale.  

• Restocking, inventorying, hanging, and pricing merchandise. 

• Help merchandise and maintain visually appealing displays that attract customer attention. 

• Assisting customers through the process of renting equipment and other services. 

• Operating register and filling out paperwork accurately. 

• Communicating with the team verbally and nonverbally to maintain a cooperative working environment. 

• Maintaining the clothing, accessories, and equipment - organizing and ensuring everything is neat and easy to shop. 

• Normal light housekeeping tasks such as opening and closing duties. 

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Independent and self-motivated worker.  

• Experience in retail preferred. 

• Knowledge of outdoor winter and summer sports. 

• Enjoys working with people - a positive attitude. 

• Ability to assess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations. 

• Ability to work well with others. 

• Ability to maintain a positive energy level, both with the customers and with coworkers, throughout the entire shift.

Working Conditions:

​Working conditions as a Retail Sales Associate may involve standing for extended periods, lifting and carrying items up to 50 pounds, and performing light housekeeping tasks. Weekend and holiday work may be required, and a positive attitude and high energy level are necessary to provide excellent customer service. However, working in a fun and friendly environment involving outdoor recreational activities can make the job enjoyable and rewarding.

Compensation:
This position starts at $15.00 an hour and will vary based on experience.

At Your Boat Club, we are committed to providing the finest boating experiences that are both safe and enjoyable without any hassle. Our journey started in 2009 with only five boats by owners Luke Kujawa and Michael Jellish. Today, we boast over 40 locations across four states. Our services include memberships, daily rentals, full marina services, and, at some locations, bike, UTV, and snowmobile rentals. Our main objective is to keep our existing members happy by providing them with exceptional service, superb boats, and great availability. Annually, we hire seasonal help at various locations and seek to hire individuals who we believe will be "A" type employees: always friendly, professional, adaptable, and possess great customer service skills.
