We are a leading company in the plastics industry, producing high-quality products for various markets. We are looking for Press Operators to join our team! As a Press Operator, you will operate and maintain machines, perform quality checks, and report data. You will also train and assist Production Operators, and handle material with forklifts and cranes.

Pay:

2nd shift- $24.02

3rd shift $24.72

Shift:

2nd Shift – Mon - Fri: 2:30p-10:30p

3rd Shift – Sun - Thur: 10:30p - 6:30a

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Follow plant safety rules and procedures; use safe work habits for assigned position, including wearing specified personal protective equipment

• Learn all aspects of all parts produced in assigned work area, including critical quality factors, customer needs and acceptable standards

• Set up, operate and perform adjustments on all equipment in assigned area

• Check all settings and pressures and document discrepancies in white book

• Operate presses and auxiliary equipment as required

• Use appropriate measuring equipment

• Complete documentation and reports as required

• Communicate effectively with previous/next shift associates for carry-over of information

• Use computer and software as directed

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Prior experience in plastics, injection molding, or stamping machines is recommended.

• Forging or stamping experience is a huge plus

• Basic computer skills and data entry abilities
