At this time, we are in search of a seasoned Supply Chain Procurement Manager to become a key player in a high-profile construction endeavor based in Nevada.

Job Description

As the Supply Chain Procurement Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of our construction project by managing all aspects of procurement, from sourcing materials and services to negotiating contracts and ensuring timely delivery. Your expertise will contribute to the project's on-time completion, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards.

Responsibilities

- Develop and implement procurement strategies tailored to the project's needs, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency.

- Lead the sourcing process for construction materials, equipment, and subcontractor services, including RFQs, RFPs, and bidding processes.

- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers and subcontractors, focusing on favorable conditions, cost reductions, and quality assurance.

- Collaborate with the project management team to forecast demand for materials and services, aligning procurement activities with project timelines.

- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and subcontractors, evaluating their capabilities, quality, and compliance with industry standards.

- Manage vendor relationships, monitoring performance, and implementing corrective actions when necessary to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.

- Ensure timely delivery of materials and services, coordinating with logistics and on-site teams to address any supply chain disruptions.

- Oversee the procurement budget, tracking expenditures, and implementing cost-saving measures without compromising on quality or project timelines.

- Ensure compliance with legal requirements, industry standards, and environmental regulations throughout the procurement process.

- Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, progress, and challenges to senior management and project stakeholders.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field or relative exprience.

- At least 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably within the construction industry.

- Strong negotiation skills and experience managing contracts and supplier relationships.

- Excellent organizational and project management abilities, with a track record of managing procurement activities in fast-paced environments.

- Familiarity with construction materials, equipment, and services, as well as industry standards and regulations.

- Proficient in procurement software and MS Office Suite.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Ability to work on-site in Nevada for the duration of the project.
