Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor
Location: Mason City, IA
Pay Range: $70,000-85,000
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and direction to teams of Maintenance Mechanics and Electricians in all aspects of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance for machinery and equipment.
- Champion the development, implementation, and daily oversight of a comprehensive maintenance program, including preventive and predictive maintenance strategies, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) principles, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Collaborate closely with Production teams to effectively schedule and execute equipment and facility repairs, minimizing downtime and ensuring smooth operations.
- Develop and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor and report on the effectiveness of the maintenance function, encompassing areas such as supplier performance, third-party contractor performance, equipment reliability, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
- Provide strategic guidance and day-to-day support to all operating teams, troubleshooting equipment failures, analyzing problems, and implementing long-term solutions.
- Train and mentor staff on proper work methods, safety procedures, and USDA regulatory compliance.
- Maintain meticulous records of all maintenance activities, including work orders, parts inventory, and equipment history.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a maintenance supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team of maintenance technicians.
- In-depth understanding of preventive maintenance (PM) and predictive maintenance (PdM) principles.
- Experience with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) methodologies a strong plus.
- Working knowledge of industrial machinery and electrical systems.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong commitment to safety and ability to enforce all safety regulations.
- Proficiency in using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) preferred.
