Job Summary

Job Description

Inspect, repair, and maintain all types of electrical equipment at the Martin Lake Railroad such as motors, generators, substations, breakers power cables and various instrumentation equipment.

Perform electrical maintenance, and diagnostics on the Martin Lake Railroads fleet of SD-40 and SD-50 locomotives. Perform electrical maintenance, and diagnostics on the Martin Lake Railroads rail signal system.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School diploma/GED equivalent.
• Safety minded. Self motivated and willing to learn.
• Minimum 3-5 years Electrical background.
• Comfortable working around heavy equipment.

This position requires the applicant to work in all weather conditions and is of a physical nature. Must be able to work with a diverse group of employees. Must be able to follow all the safety rules required in a mining environment.
