Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team of professionals. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in helping students with physical disabilities or challenges by providing appropriate therapeutic interventions and services. Your expertise will contribute to creating an inclusive and accessible learning environment for all students.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of students' physical abilities and needs.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and goals for students based on assessments.
  • Provide hands-on physical therapy services to students in both group and one-on-one settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to ensure students' needs are met effectively.
  • Monitor and track students' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Implement assistive devices and technology to aid students in their daily activities.
  • Educate and empower teachers and school staff on strategies to support students with physical challenges in the classroom.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions and progress reports.
  • Stay current with best practices and advancements in physical therapy techniques.

Requirements:

  • Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • License to practice in the state of North Carolina
  • Schools or Pediatrics experience preferred

Interview Process:

  • 10-15 minute screening call with ProCare Account Executive
  • 20-30 minute virtual/in-person interview with school district
  • Offer is typically extended after 24-48 hours of interview
