Special Education (SPED) Teacher Needed

Location: Las Vegas, NM

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs
• Provide differentiated instruction to meet the unique learning styles and abilities of each student
• Collaborate with other educators, parents, and support staff to ensure the success of students with special needs
• Utilize various instructional strategies and resources to create an inclusive learning environment
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods as needed
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to student progress and services provided

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field (Master's degree preferred)
• Valid teaching license/certification in Special Education (New Mexico certification preferred)
• Experience working with students with disabilities in a school setting
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
