Our Mission At Aquario Dental, our goal is to serve our community by providing the highest quality dental care. Our dentists strive to improve the way dentistry is done by reducing fear and anxiety. We strive to maximize safety, quality and the overall experience of visiting the dentist by creating a stress-free environment. This will improve oral health and increase the quality of life for our patients and their families. We are looking for a competent Front Office Dental Assistant with at least 6 months experience working in the dental front office setting. This ideal candidate will work as a team member to ensure the patient flow runs smoothly.


Office Hours: Tuesday – Friday 10:30-7:30p & Saturdays 9:30-3:30p *CLOSED MON & SUN* *Some Mondays when kids are out of school we will open* Pay depends on experience

 

General Summary of Duties:

• Provide excellent customer service and build trust with patients and their families

Scheduling/rescheduling appointments

• Verify Insurance Medicaid/PPO

• Answering phones and checking voicemails daily

• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures

• Welcome patients at check-in

• Demonstrate excellent communication skills, including flexibility, priority setting, problem solving, and conflict resolutions

• Maintain highly positive attitude

• Utilize time and complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner Skills

• Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred

• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods

• Understanding of health & safety regulations

• Good computer skills

• Basic Math Skills

• Experience using Dentrix & Open Dental preferred

• Excellent communication and people skills

• Attention to detail

• Well-organized and reliable

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Additional certification or training is a plus
