Position Summary:

Ferrovial Webber Energy has been created to support EPC renewable generation projects, especially Solar and Wind farms, in the US. This position will be based on site in one of our projects in Texas.

The position of a Project Manager is consistently thinking about ways to accelerate job, decrease costs, increase markups, save indirect costs, and take advantage of situations to increase profits for multiple projects. The Project Manager will be the responsible of the Project reporting to the Director of Operations.

Regular Job Duties

  • Ensures Safety First Attitude through Project and Field Management down to every Crew Member.
  • Being in charge of the cost control and budgeting of the Project.
  • Develop and maintain a working relationship with the Owner or the Owner's representative · Have a strong understanding of the work specifications and contract responsibilities to anticipate project conflicts for multiple projects.
  • Review the project subcontracts, purchase orders, and monthly pay estimates. · Approve selection of Subcontractors and Suppliers.
  • Create, review, and forecast budget for the project.
  • Support the Construction Manager in the coordinate of construction crews, equipment, and materials on the project.
  • Know the project schedule, uses the schedule to identify risks and opportunities with the Owner of the Owner´s representative.
  • Has accurate information about real production, quantities, cost coding and inventory.
  • Whatever enhances the operations of the company.

Qualifications

  • Significant experience as a manager of Energy construction activities in the field, especially in Utility Scale PV Plants (>50 MW) construction in an EPC Contractor
  • Must possess superior construction knowledge, excellent personnel management skills, scheduling expertise, good knowledge and use of cost control procedures.
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or related curriculum from an accredited University preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience, in a similar role, in Utility scale PV Plants (>50 MW) construction.
  • Willing to travel
