Position Overview: As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic school environment, providing crucial support to students with diverse needs. This is a travel assignment that offers an immediate start date and extends until the end of the school year. Join our team and make a positive impact on the lives of students while experiencing the charm of Vermont.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the school's occupational therapist to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in a school-based setting.
  • Assess students' needs and progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and student progress.
  • Communicate effectively with students, their families, and school staff.

Qualifications:

  • You do NOT need to be Bilingual to apply for this position
  • Valid Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in Vermont.
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
  • Previous experience working in a school-based setting preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and work as part of a collaborative team.
