This individual has 24 hours responsibility and accountability for operations within the unit. Works with the Nurse Manager and staff to improve the quality of care using evidence-based practice, strengthen the financial performance of the unit, and improve patient, physician and employee satisfaction. The Clinical Director leads by example, promotes a positive image of nursing, demonstrates accountability and teamwork while motivating others. The Clinical Director has strong problem-solving skills seeking issues and problems and actively problem solves on a continuous basis. The Clinical Director holds crucial and difficult conversations when needed and discusses issues openly with others working toward solutions. The Clinical Director transforms the department and the organization strategically, aligning with the strategic plan of the division of nursing and the organization. Works with the team to reduce infrastructure and to promote high value performance.

Required Experience
