Experienced Custodian or Janitor at a Dog Daycare

Seeking a responsible and experienced custodian for a busy dog service business in the Cobble Hill area of Brooklyn for a part time shift. Position starts at $17.00 per hour.

20-30 hours per week, 5-6 hour shifts on weekdays. Not remote but position is for two store locations within a 2 block radius. Candidates with flexibility for some weekend shift hours, will be considered first.

Must be:

• Available to work on all holidays.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
• Able to perform general cleaning duties, climb a ladder, do some lifting and pulling of appliances and company property.
• Able to operate standard cleaning equipment such as a vacuum and a rug shampoo machine.
• Able to work around strong cleaning products in a facility that services a large numbers of dogs.
• Comfortable with being around dogs of all sizes and breeds.

Please be aware that you will not be working inside the dog pens however there will always be supervised dogs in different areas of the facility and comfortability around them is a MUST!

Responisibilities:

• Sweeping, vacuuming, mopping floors & carpets
• Handling laundry (washer & dryer in store)
• Disinfecting bathrooms and store sinks
• Disinfecting countertops, tables, desks, etc
• Keeping track of inventory
• Sorting & handling trash
• Window cleaning
• Handling storage
• Dusting
• etc!
