We are expanding our team to serve the needs of our community in the Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri area!  Central Ozarks Medical Center (COMC) is excited to announce an opening for a Medical and Behavioral Health (BH) Clinic Manager position for our Camdenton/Laurie Clinics!


COMC is a Missouri non-profit, federally qualified health center that has served Pulaski, Laclede, Camden and Miller counties for over 40 years.   Our goal is to provide the highest quality, affordable healthcare to the communities we serve. Responsibilities: In collaboration with the Director of Operations, the Clinic Manager role is responsible for the implementation of strategy and core business model changes across assigned clinics. Functions as clinical support leadership and manager of the assigned clinics. Responsible for facilitating a collaborative approach to compassionate, integrated, whole-person care; partnering with clinicians and operational leadership to provide effective and proactive management of clinic operations; management of clinic staff; ensuring exceptional services to patients; achieving annual operational and financial goals; and managing multiple clinics and programs. Holds authority/oversight over daily operations and is responsible for managing and overseeing the delivery of exceptional and compassionate care to all patients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Provide oversight and direction to all assigned clinics, outreach programs, integrate with other service lines to provide comprehensive care programs, and ensures PCMH standards are met.
• Demonstrate a strong business acumen as well as substantial knowledge and expertise in the medical and behavioral health knowledge. Analyze and ability to communicate data related to clinical information, quality outcomes, operational systems, business needs and related issues in an accurate, objective and positive and effective manner.
• Solve problems and make critical patient and/or management decisions supported by substantial financial analysis, clinical knowledge, and critical data-based decision making.
• Ensuring monthly provider and staff schedules meets patient visit targets and actuals.
• Collaborate on the roll out of the annual clinic budget.
• Works cooperatively with coworkers and supervisor. Acts as an effective team member with other employees through cooperation.
• Monitor clinic office supplies, clinical supplies, and collaborates on equipment through appropriate established channels.
Communicate/navigate situations with upset patients; event reports and sends to appropriate leadership for resolution.
• Approve/amend timesheets and manage PTO and Sick time.
• Facilitates staff meetings while ensuring adequate clinic staffing.
• Collaborates with the Director of Operations to support operational maturity and growth.
• Assist in developing, implementing and updating policies and procedures.
• Work collaboratively with the Billing department in all aspects of patient billing and the computer functions supporting the billing process.
• Participate in Health Center activities and actively engage as a member of the leadership team. Participates in community events.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.


Education and/or experience: 5+ Years Clinic Experience with a minimum of 3 years supervisory/management experience. Bachelors, RN, and/or Associates degree preferred. Familiarity and experience with standards and processes established by OSHA, ADA/MDA and regulatory state and federal agencies and entities.


Leadership Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with all staff and other service lines. skills and knowledge to all dental staff members and other departments. Strong focus on staff, recruitment, retention, and training to deliver high quality care.


Language Skills: Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from patients and providers.


Mathematical Skills: Attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work with accounting concepts and develop budgets.


Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions, follow federal, state and health care regulations. Demonstrated expertise in problem solving, priority setting and analytical skills.


Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This includes moderate physical effort consisting of occasionally lifting or moving over 35 pounds of weight.


Travel Requirement: To fulfill the responsibility of the position travel to all COMC locations may be required. Employee must have valid Missouri driver’s license and availability of a motor vehicle. Travel to administrative office, other clinics, leadership meetings, and team events is required as part of the responsibilities of the role.
