Doctors’ Memorial Hospital (DMH) is a beautiful modern facility staffed by highly trained caring individuals. DMH provides an array of technology usually only found in large cities including a 64 slice CT scanner, 1.5 MRI, 3D mammography, ultrasound and ECHO. Other services provided at DMH include surgery, pediatrics, endoscopy, nuclear medicine and physical therapy. Our specialty clinic brings physicians such as cardiologists, urologists, orthopedists, dermatologists and oncologists to Taylor County so that patients will not have to travel to surrounding cities for these services.

Job Description

The Float RN is responsible for delivery of patient care through utilization of nursing profession. The primary responsibilities will be to float to the clinical area of the hospital with the greatest need for nursing skills such as to the Medical Surgical Department, the Emergency Department, The Surgical Services Department, the Specialty Services Department (Wound Care/ Infusion), and the Intensive Care Unit. He/She is expected to function as a team leader and independently, effectively guiding and directing all personal involved in daily patient care areas. He/She is expected to abide by and implement hospital policy and to effectively interact with peers, colleagues and the general public.   

Qualifications

Registered Nursing Licensed in Florida, BLS, ACLS, PALS Optimal IV Therapy.

Experience is preferred at a minimum of 1-year experience.
