SERVICE TECHNICIAN


Job Description

  • Category: Service
  • Industry: Agriculture & Light Construction Maintenance, Diesel Engine Technologies
  • Status: Full-time
  • Essential Functions
    • Diagnose and repair tractors, hay tools, & light construction equipment
    • Maintain technical and product knowledge of New Holland, Case IH, & other various products
    • Perform diagnostic and repairs in the field
    • Prepare all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments
    • Ensure warranty repairs are properly diagnosed, documented, and charged
    • Work closely with customers to provide the best total ownership experience of their equipment
    • Perform other duties as requested by the Service Manager & Shop Foreman

Requirements

  • Certificate or degree from college or technical school; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Basic computer skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Dependable, punctual, and career-oriented
  • Maintain a professional appearance
  • Ability to sit, stand, climb, lift 50 lbs., grasp, reach, stoop, and crouch, speak, listen and motor coordination skills
  • Own a variety of tools to perform repairs
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
  • Reliable source of transportation
