Summary


We are seeking a Project Manager with a strong technical background and an understanding of project management methodologies. This role involves leading technical projects, particularly in the areas of Infrastructure and ERP systems. The ideal candidate should be adept in project lifecycle management and familiar with Agile methodologies. This individual will report to the Senior Project Manager/PMO Lead.


Responsibilities


  • Oversee the project lifecycle from initiation to closure, ensuring adherence to scope, timelines, and budget.
  • Manage and lead a variety of technical projects, ensuring successful completion in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Utilize Brightwork365 and ManageEngine for effective workload, resource, and backlog management.
  • Engage proactively in team discussions, particularly in situations requiring leadership to guide conversations.
  • Participate in regular stand-ups and Application meetings.
  • Communicate effectively with users and team members, using tools like phone, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams, or SharePoint to drive project progress.
  • Lead and direct project teams, ensuring project completion with a focus on quality and timeliness.
  • Apply testing methodologies within project scope to ensure quality results.
  • Collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders, managing expectations and aligning project objectives with organizational strategies.


Requirements


  • Solid technical background with the ability to discuss complex technical concepts, especially in Infrastructure and ERP systems.
  • Understanding of project management methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an extroverted nature suitable for collaborative environments.
  • Experience in leading and completing projects, demonstrating the ability to drive initiatives from conception to completion.
  • Experience working within an ITIL environment with emphasis on change management.
  • Adaptability to work in a developing, non-traditional PM organization.
  • Openness to learning and development within the role.


Qualifications


  • Relevant educational background, preferably in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a project manager in the information technology sector.
  • Strong organizational skills, including multitasking and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with all levels of management and understanding that communication methods vary based on roles within the organization.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • PMP or other project management certifications are advantageous but not mandatory.
