Soliant has partnered with a school district in the area of Westfield, TX, and is seeking a contract Speech-Language Pathologist for this school year AND next school year! We are happy to work with Clinical Fellows.

This is a large school district, serving a suburban population. Soliant has enjoyed many years of working with this team; our SLPs thrive here, so we WANT to help you navigate a work transition that works for you!

Caseload assignments will likely vary from K-12 age groups; the lead SLP makes every attempt to keep caseload numbers around 50.

Duties include:

  • Providing speech and/or language therapy to students identified with munication disorders.
  • Maintaining accurate service records of students on caseload
  • Evaluating students with suspected munication disorders; making remendations for speech and language services as needed
  • Providing prehensive written report of observations, assessment results, and remendations within the standards established by state guidelines
  • Developing speech and language goals in Individualized Education Programs
  • Developing integrated goals with other education staff for students with multiple or other disabilities.
  • Consulting with school staff and parents on the inclusion of materials to support speech and language development, or other areas of curriculum related to speech and language.
  • Participating in the Medicaid billing process for school-based services as directed.
