POSITION:
The customer service position responsible for processing customers' orders for Prairie Farms Dairy, inc.- Cheese Division. Receive, investigate and respond to all customer inquiries regarding shipments, invoicing discrepancies, products and complaints.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:
- Communicate with inter-company personnel and customer via phone or other means of technology concerning orders, returns, shipments, and products.
- Receive and enter customer orders according to established departments policies and procedures ensuring accuracy and timelines.
- Support the achievement of quality performance consistent with customer expectation, company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare customer reports as needed
- Maintain customers account file maintenance
- Verify orders with customers to ensure accuracy
- Handle difficult and unsatisfied customers in a professional manner
- Communicate with plant personnel to ensure customer satisfaction
- Focused selling of new and continual products
- Building relationships with outside sales team to ensure optimal customer satisfaction
- Perform other duties as assigned
SKILLS & RESPONSIBILITES:
- Must have minimally two years customer service experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)
- Must possess excellent telephone etiquette
- Must have proficient skills with Microsoft Office software applications
- Must have excellent data entry skills
- Must be willing to work flexible hours
- Must be able to verbally communicate, understand and write in the English Language.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to sit, stand, or walk for prolonged periods.
- The employee may be required to operate a computer and keyboard
- Have visual acuity to review written documentation
- Ability to hear and understand speech.
