Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Driver Technician to join our team. As a Driver Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of goods and equipment. This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to solve problems on the go.

No CDL Required. - Clean Driving History Required.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operates medium to large trucks daily to deliver and pick up rental equipment at theme parks, resorts, and other facilities as instructed
  • Deliver orders via the most effective route to ensure complete orders are delivered according to established time frames and customer/guest needs
  • Perform maintenance services for mobility equipment, including strollers, wheelchairs, ECV's, lockers and other allied equipment
  • Ensure documents delivery and accuracy, and receipt of orders by the customer according to company directives reporting any discrepancies to company
  • Maintain a safe work area and complies with safety procedures and equipment operating rules, keeping work areas in a clean and orderly condition
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance
  • Loading and unloading equipment in a timely manner
  • Follow all traffic laws and regulations
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups
  • Assist with the setup and breakdown of equipment as required
  • Providing exceptional customer service and addressing any concerns
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license
  • Minimum of [2] years of experience as a box truck driver
  • Strong knowledge of local roads and routes
  • Excellent driving and computer skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed

Weekend schedule - Friday - Monday, 4 days a week, 6-8 hours per day.

Pay starts at $18/hr for 4 weeks during a probationary training period, at the end of training period transitions to $20/hr.
