SUMMARY

Plans, executes, oversees, and directs activities concerned with all operational facets related to the success of each project and to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget. Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.

Supervisory Responsibilities - None

Duties

  1. Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
  2. Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of projects.
  3. Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
  4. Ensure resource availability and allocation.
  5. Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
  6. Develop a detailed project plan to track progress.
  7. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  8. Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
  9. Report and escalate project challenges to management as needed.
  10. Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
  11. Prepare correspondence to keep peers and supervisors abreast of project activities and issues.
  12. Schedule and conduct meetings, including issuing of meeting notes and clear action items.
  13. Work hand-in-hand with Engineering, Business Development Managers, Sales, Business Unit Managers as well as peers in other departments, such as Manufacturing, Materials, Quality and/or Sales & Marketing.

Strong interpersonal skills, the ability to balance multiple tasks and any stress associated with the duties and responsibilities of this position are essential requirements in the performance of this job.

General Qualifications:

  1. Must have strong organizational and time-management skills in order to prioritize and complete competing multiple tasks simultaneously.

Education and/or Experience

Any combination of education, training, and relevant experience equivalent to a minimum of the following:

  1. BS Degree; plus 12 to 36 -months specific, technically related project management experience; or strong project management skills.
  1. Associate degree in a technically related field; plus 36 to 60-months specific, technically related project management experience.

Language Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Mathematical Skills

Basic mathematics skills.

Reasoning Ability

Able to work in a fast-paced environment, with quickly changing work priorities.

TOOLS AND/OR EQUIPMENT

WORK ENVIRONMENT

85% inside, climate / noise-controlled office, and 15% manufacturing environment or traveling; lifting to 50 lbs. on occasion. Eye and hearing protection may be required in manufacturing areas; and additional protective clothing may be required when visiting customer sites. This position may work in various environments including office, factory, or home settings. Employees who choose to work from home are expected to comply with all company requirements for core work hours or in-person attendance at company meetings or events. (As applicable)
